Terms and Conditions
To ensure the quality of our training and to create the most value for students and instructors alike, we expect actors to do the required work and come prepared to any class, coaching session or workshop they sign up for.
Actors will not be admitted into a class/workshop without completing the requisite sign up form.
All Classes at ACT IN Everywhere Have a Strict Lockout Policy
Classes begin on time. It is the actors’ responsibility to verify the time zone. Late arrivals will not be permitted without express, previous consent from ACT IN.
Working Environment at ACT IN Everywhere
Actors are expected to demonstrate kindness and foster a supportive environment. Harassment and abuse of any kind will not be tolerated, and will result in the harassing actor being immediately removed from class with no refund, and will be permanently banned from working with ACT IN Everywhere.
Our workshops and classes are a safe space where participants can and do share vulnerable and personal moments. We take this promise of mutual trust and secrecy very seriously. If you participate in our classes or workshops, you understand that mutual respect is the foundation of our work and “what happens in the workshop/class, stays in the workshop/class”.
Any damages to workshop spaces and amenities/infrastructure caused by workshop participants, as well as the ensuing costs for necessary repairs or replacements, are to be borne solely by the participants themselves. ACT IN Everywhere shall in no way be held liable.
Social Media etc.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise and express consent is obtained from ACT IN and all workshop or class participants, no videos, voice recordings or photos are allowed at any time. There shall be no posting of workshop content on social media, etc. without the express consent of all persons involved.
Disclaimer
Please note that none of the workshops, classes or private sessions held by ACT IN Everywhere guarantee results (acting and life coaching), audition opportunities, bookings (acting jobs), industry contacts or representation (agent, manager).
Our work is also not in any way a replacement for health and/or medical care. If you require health, medical, psychiatric and/or psychological care, we advise you to retain the services of a licensed and trained medical professional. Similarly, if you are experiencing active trauma or need assistance processing a specific traumatic experience, we recommend that you retain the service of a licensed and trained mental health professional. If you need assistance unpacking issues of race, privilege and/or bias, and exploring how these things have shaped your identity and impacted your life and work, you should seek the assistance of a qualified diversity coach who is specifically trained to address these matters. The sole purpose of ACT IN Everywhere and Cloe’s Life Coaching offerings is to offer coaching in the areas of acting and life- /self-improvement.
Right to Refuse Service
We may prohibit you from participating in or utilizing the Site if, in our sole and absolute discretion, you show a disregard for the Terms or act in an unacceptable manner, with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person, or in any other disruptive manner. We also reserve the right to refuse service or cancel participation in our workshops, classes or 1:1 sessions with Cloe at our sole and absolute discretion. In the event of a dispute between us, you agree to not engage in any conduct or communications, public or private, designed to disparage ACT IN Everywhere, Cloe Xhauflaire, or any of our Training Programs, Products, or Services.
Workshops
Payment for workshops are to be paid in full. Payment plans are available upon request. When you sign up for a workshop, you sign up for the full number of days. In the event of unexpected absences, Cloe or her workshop assistant must be given immediate notice. Under no circumstances is it possible to sign up for a partial workshop. There will be no refunds or discounts for days missed.
Cancellation Policy - How We Roll
Workshops (Zoom and in-person)
- Cancellation up to 14 days before workshop begins: $50.00 cancellation fee
- Cancellation up to 7-13 days before workshop begins: 50% refund
- Cancellation 1-6 days before workshop begins: no refund
Please note that if you must cancel your participation in a workshop, we will open the spot to our waitlist. Alternatively, if you find a replacement on your own, that person must first be approved and confirmed by ACT IN. If you cannot find a suitable replacement and none of the individuals on the waitlist can take your place, the cancellation policy mentioned above will be applicable.
Classes (Zoom and in-person)
- Cancellation more than 24 hrs before class begins: $15.00 cancellation fee
- Cancellation less than 24 hrs before class begins: no refund
Private Coaching (Zoom and in-person)
- Cancellation more than 24 hrs before class begins: $30.00 cancellation fee
- Cancellation less than 24 hrs before class begins: no refund
